今日は、京都市左京区にある下鴨神社を紹介します！
下鴨神社は、京都の寺社では最も古い部類に入り、ユネスコの世界遺産に「古都京都の文化財」の1つとして登録されています。
古くより導きの神、勝利の神として信仰されており、事始めの神社としても有名です。
また境内には、縁結びのお社 相生社もあり、若い女性が熱心にお参りをしている姿も見られます。
意外と知られていないのですが、正式名称は「賀茂御祖神社（かもみおやじんじゃ）」というそうです。

開門時間：6:00～17:30
アクセス：京阪 出町柳駅より徒歩12分 / 市バス 下鴨神社前停すぐ
本殿の南には、「糺の森（ただすのもり）」と呼ばれる、広大な鎮守の森（社叢林）が、参道の両側に広がっています。
古代そのまま木々が自生する森は、マイナスイオンたっぷり。
観光客だけではなく、近隣の方々にとっても憩いの場となっています。
8月には、「下鴨納涼古本まつり」と呼ばれる、文庫・絵本・雑誌・美術書・絶版漫画などのあらゆる古書、総数約80万冊が即売される古本市が開催され、毎年多くの人で賑わうのだとか！

営業時間：10:00～17:30（最終日は16:00まで）
下鴨神社周辺で、もう一つお伝えしたいのが、こちらのラーメン屋さん。
知る人ぞ知る、幻の屋台ラーメン「はらちゃんラーメン」です。
アニメ化もされた小説「四畳半神話体系」（森見登美彦 著／太田出版）に登場する”猫ラーメン”のモデルともいわれています。
なぜ”幻”なのか…それは、ほぼ毎日お休みだからです。
営業日は、だいたい週に一日でしょうか…。

Today, I will talk about Shimogamo-Shrine.
Shimogamo-Shrine is one of the most
historical temples and shrines in Kyoto, and ranked in UNESCO World Heritage
site as “Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto.”
People pray for success and victory when
they start something from long time ago.
Also, there is a little shrine of
match-making, and it is very popular among young women.

Near the Kyoto City Bus “Shimogamo Jinja Mae” stop
On the south of the main shrine, the
extensive forest called “Tadasu no mori” spreads out by the approach.
The trees have grown naturally since
ancient time, and produced clean air!
You must be relaxed a lot, walking through
the path.
In every August, the used books market is
held as well, and it is really crowded with people of all ages, from children
to the elderly.

At last, I will tell you an interesting
spot near Shimogamo-Shrine.
It is the street stall ramen, “Harachan
Ramen.”
(Ramen is a noodle soup dish originally
imported from China)
The reason why it’s so interesting is the
stall is hardly appeared.
If you find it lucky, please try to open
the shop curtain! :D
